Our Mission
The daily news cycle is fast, fragmented, and often lacks context. The Hong Kong Examiner was created to provide a slower, deeper look at the systemic issues shaping the city. We prioritize data over rhetoric, and long-form analysis over hot takes.
Methodology
We rely on primary sources: Census and Statistics Department data, HKMA reports, Legislative Council briefs, and publicly available corporate filings. We build our tools transparently, stating assumptions clearly.
